My father is a real furniture aficionado; inspired by him, I have collected some more items over the years

Robin Day designed this convertible day-bed for Hillie, an English brand that worked in a sort of English Scandinavian style. This is the version i have, which is also indexed in the V&A storehouse, it is upholstered in a rough grey wool and has mahogany sideboards, and sits on steel beds. It is infrequently seen at auction and those sort of east london furniture shops ive written about.
